Reykjavik

Arrive in Reykjavik and transfer to the four-star Grand Hotel Reykjavik. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

August 8

Reykjavik

Experience a half-day tour of Reykjavik and take in the world’s northernmost capital. After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic tour, encompassing prominent landmarks like City Hall, Hofdi House, and the magnificent Harpa Concert Hall, renowned for its striking architectural design. Next, immerse yourself in the wonders of Iceland at the Perlan Wonders of Iceland exhibition, where you can explore the country’s diverse natural landscapes and geological phenomena. Expand your knowledge of Icelandic history and heritage at the National Museum of Iceland, which showcases captivating artifacts and exhibits. Before you embark Marina, end the tour with an outside visit of the awe-inspiring Hallgrimskirkja Church Tower, offering panoramic views of Reykjavik’s picturesque surroundings.

EASY:
Travelers should be confident in their ability to walk and stand for up to 1 hour, while keeping pace with a group or tour guide. This tour involves less than 1 mile of walking on mostly flat surfaces and occasional stairs, some without handrails. Travelers must be able to board a motorcoach or bus with minimal assistance.  Portions of this program are panoramic in nature.
